Are you looking for a solution for your industry or do you have a technical problem that needs solving?
A Norwegian meat storage company has chosen the Arctico2 cooling system, designed and manufactured by MB Frigo Grupa.
The CO2 cooling system consists of a compressor unit, a separate intercooler, a gas cooler, a high-efficiency evaporator and an electrical control cabinet.
The compressor unit includes a Dorin two-stage semi-hermetic compressor, which operates in the subcritical and transcritical range.
The unit is equipped with a system for oil separation and recovery, liquefied refrigerant tank and an electrical cabinet.
The compressor unit is controlled by a CAREL pRack 100T series electronic controller, and the operation of the evaporator in the cooling chamber is controlled using a Danfoss AKVH series electronic CO2 expansion valve, driven by a Danfoss electronic AK CC 550A series controller.
Both systems are interconnected so that there is no risk of the so-called “uncoordinated operation”, and thus a failure of the cooling system. With such a connection, optimal operating parameters are achieved, which ensure the maximum utilization of the entire system.
