Cooling system for fish processing

The company AM FRIGO from Split is the main contractor and supplier of equipment for the reconstruction of the fish processing plant of the company Centaurus from Split, where it implemented a technical cooling solution based on the latest CO2 technology in cooperation with MB Frigo Grupa. The production plants and warehouses are cooled by several ArctiCO2 refrigeration units with CO2. It is a company whose activities include catching, buying and distributing fresh and frozen fish, as well as a successful and modern company that introduced a series of innovations in supplying catering facilities with fish. The cooling units represent the latest Toshiba inverter technology and have Carel components installed, which comply with all the upcoming provisions of the F-Gas Regulation. They enable optimal operation and average annual energy savings of up to 25% compared to the cooling systems used so far. MB Frigo Grupa has already started serial production of CO2 refrigeration units which cover positive temperature regimes, and the units for negative temperature regimes are in the final stage of development. After testing these should become a standard product by the end of the year.
