New Danfoss ETS 8M valve

The Danfoss ETS series of electronic expansion valves is used for fine flow regulation and precise feeding of the evaporator. The new Danfoss ETS 8M valve provides equipment manufacturers and end users with greater efficiency and reliability, and is built to bridge the capacity gap between the small and efficient ETS 5M valve and the innovative ETS Colibri valve used in larger capacity systems. Danfoss has used its expertise and experience to support its customers in the transition to refrigerants with low global warming potential (GWP). The ETS 8M series is compatible with R454B as well as R32 and can be supplemented with the entire portfolio of Danfoss components, compressors, and heat exchangers available with these refrigerants. After new tests and certifications that expanded the potential use for ETS 5M ultra-compact EXV, the manufacturers of smaller cooling systems have more options available. The valve has a cooling capacity of 8 to 21 kW on R410A. Testing has proven that ETS 5M is resistant to vibrations and shocks in transport applications and that it is very reliable at low temperatures.
